He holds a degree in Dentistry from the University of Santo Amaro (1986), a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of São Paulo - USP (1997) and a PhD in Restorative Dentistry from the University of São Paulo - USP (2002). She has experience in Dentistry, with an emphasis on Restorative Dentistry and Dental Materials, working mainly on the following topics: aesthetics, dentistry, adhesion, laser and cementation. Since 2002, she has been the Scientific Editor of the Journal of the Institute of Health Sciences at UNIP. She is currently Full Professor, responsible for the Disciplines of Dentistry and Dental Materials at Universidade Paulista, Coordinator and professor of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Dentistry at UNIP, Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Restorative Dentistry at UNIP, leader of the Application ResearchID Groups of Laser in Dentistry and Biocompatibility of Dental Materials CNPq/UNIP and professor at the São Paulo Association of Dental Surgeons.

Accreditation and De-accreditation of Members of the Core of Permanent Professors
In order for a lecturer to be considered as a permanent faculty member in this Program, he/she needs to submit a profile that is compatible with the criteria set forth by CAPES:
- Score greater than or equal to 87 points.
- Three published papers in B2 journals or more in the last triennium, (one of them in an A2 journal).
- Projects funded by development agencies (at least two in the last triennium).
