Academic Year 2026 (First semester)
The Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Environmental and Experimental Pathology announces the opening of registration for the selection process for candidates at the Master's and Doctoral levels, aiming to fill remaining vacancies for the first semester of the 2026 academic year. The registration period is from December 16, 2025, to January 30, 2026.
Application will be made online only.
Registration for Masters
Doctoral Registration
The candidate must submit the following documents:
- Copy of the identity card or other identity document with national validity for Brazilian candidates;
- Copy of birth or marriage certificate;
- Copy of the CPF (Individual Taxpayer);
- Copy of academic transcript of graduation courses;
- Copy of academic transcript of the Master's Degree (only for Doctorate);
- Copy of graduation diploma of course recognized by MEC;
- Copy of the Master's degree diploma of course recommended by CAPES (only for Doctorate);
- Documented Curriculum Lattes - CNPq (required);
- Enrollment fee in the amount of BRL 45.00 (*);
- Copy of payment receipt of the enrollment fee.
- Candidates for the Doctorate, with a Master's degree obtained by the UNIP, must present a letter of acceptance of orientation signed by the tutor (attachment 1).
Foreign candidates must submit as well:
- Copy of the National Migratory Registry (NMR) or evidentiary document as regards regular residence in Brazil;
- CELPE-BRAS Certificate of sufficiency in Portuguese language (http://portal.inep.gov.br/acoes-internacionais/celpe-bras). May be accepted the protocol of enrollment in the examination.
Candidates that have a Graduation or Master's Degree in foreign institutions must submit the following documents:
- Copy of the academic transcript and graduation diploma duly revalidated, according to current legislation, except in the event of international agreements, provided that are incorporated by Brazil, for candidates to Master's Degree.
- Copy of the academic transcript and diploma of Master's Degree, duly recognized by Brazilian program recognized by MEC, for the candidates to the Doctorate.
(*) The enrollment fee shall be payable by bank payment slip generated in the end of filling out an online enrollment form.
In case of any issues related to the generation or payment of the invoice, it is recommended to contact directly the Secretary of the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Program in Environmental and Experimental Pathology.
The registration fee will not be refunded if the candidate is not classified for any stage of the selection process.
Candidates should send digital copies of the documents, in PDF format, to the e-mail: pgveterinaria@unip.br and wait for confirmation of receipt. Only legible copies and original sizes will be accepted.
In case of approval in the selection process, all documents must have their originals presented at the time of registration.
Applications with incomplete documentation or that do not strictly comply with the requirements of this notice will not be accepted.
The personal data provided by candidates will be used exclusively for the purposes of this selection process for admission to the Program, in accordance with Law No. 13,709/2018 (General Data Protection Law – LGPD).
By applying, candidates acknowledge that their names may be disclosed in official publications and on the Program's website, in accordance with the principle of transparency set forth in Article 6, item VI, of the LGPD.
The selection of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Environmental and Experimental Pathology (Master and Doctorate) comprises:
STAGE I – REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS (Eliminatory)
From December 16, 2025, to January 30, 2026.
Registration will only be validated upon payment of the bank slip and submission of the complete documentation within the stipulated period. Validation is done by confirmation email sent to the candidate.
Failure to submit the Lattes Curriculum – CNPq will automatically void the registration.
STAGE II – SELECTION EXAM FOR CANDIDATES APPROVED IN STAGE I (online)
February 3, 2026 (Tuesday), from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Written exam and Proficiency exam.
1. Written Test on Environmental and Experimental Pathology
2. English Proficiency Test (master's degree) (*)
3. English Proficiency Test (mandatory) and Spanish Proficiency Test (doctorate) (*)
4. Curriculum Analysis
(*) The use of a dictionary is permitted. Doctorate candidates must present, if applicable, a certificate in a foreign language other than that of the Master's degree.
STAGE III – INTERVIEWS FOR CANDIDATES WHO PASSED STAGES I AND II
February 3, 2026 (Tuesday), starting at 5 p.m. – Announcement of candidates approved for Stage III – Interview.
February 4, 2026 (Wednesday), starting at 9 a.m. – Interview (online).
IMPORTANT:
1- The exam and interview will be conducted via videoconference and online forms. The links will be sent by e-mail.
2- Candidates who do not attend any stage of the selection process, even if for a duly justified reason, will be disqualified.
3- Approval in the selection process is subject to the analysis of the Selection Committee, which has total autonomy to decide on the acceptance or rejection of any candidate. All decisions of the Committee are sovereign and irrevocable, based on the criteria established by the notice and its careful judgment. Therefore, the reasons why candidates were or were not selected will not be disclosed.
4- Cases not covered by this notice will be resolved, in the first instance, by the Coordinator; in the second instance, by the Committee; and, lastly, by the Vice-Rectorate of Postgraduate Studies and Research.
SELECTION RESULT
February 4, 2026 (Wednesday), from 6 pm – Announcement of approved candidates.
Enrollment must be done in person at the Program Secretariat, on February 5 and 6, 2026, when the candidate must:
- Present the following original documents:
- Identity Card or other identification document with national validity, for Brazilian candidates;
- CPF;
- Birth or Marriage Certificate;
- Undergraduate Course Diploma from a course recognized by the MEC, registered;
- Academic Transcript from an Undergraduate Course from a course recognized by the MEC;
- Master's Degree Diploma from a course recommended by CAPES, registered, for Doctorate candidates;
- Academic Transcript from a Master's Degree from a course recommended by CAPES, for Doctorate candidates;
- 2 recent 3x4 photographs;
- National Registry of Foreigners (RNE)/National Migration Registry (RNM) or document proving legal residence in Brazil;
- CELPE-BRAS certificate of proficiency in Portuguese. The exam registration protocol may be accepted.
- Academic transcript and diploma from the undergraduate course duly revalidated, according to current legislation, except in the case of international agreements, provided that they are incorporated by Brazil;
- Academic transcript and diploma from the master's degree, duly recognized by a Brazilian program recognized by CAPES, for candidates for the Doctorate.
Foreign candidates must also present:
Candidates who have completed undergraduate or master's degrees at foreign institutions must submit the following documents:
- Sign the Educational Services Provision Agreement.
- Choose the courses to be taken during the semester.
- Collect the payment slip for enrollment.

Note: Registration for PROSUP scholarships is independent of registration for the course admission selection process. Therefore, participation in the course selection process does not, in itself, imply registration for the scholarship.
On an exceptional basis—considering the reduced calendar for the remaining vacancies selection process—candidates may apply for the PROSUP scholarship during the same period in which they apply for the Program admission selection process.
