Accreditation and De-accreditation of Members of the Core of Permanent Professors

The accreditation of permanent professors (NDP) in the Institutional Practices Program in Mental Health will have the following criteria:

  • The needs of the area of concentration and lines of research;
  • The Lattes Curriculum of the candidate, evidencing the title of doctor recognized by the Brazilian government and experience in academic activities, such as participation in congresses and submission of projects to funding bodies;
  • The potential for conducting research and publishing in journals recommended by CAPES;
  • Participation in a Certified Research Group at CNPq and/or recognized IES.

Once accredited, it will be up to the professor, during the evaluation period established by CAPES (or proportionally to his/her admission to the program):

  • To have the amount of guidance, defenses and technical production recommended by CAPES;
  • To attend national and international congresses and events;
  • To teach undergraduate courses;
  • To have qualified publication (personal, supervised and graduates) following CAPES criteria;
  • To participate as a visiting professor on master's or doctoral examining boards at other institutions.
